Dr. Christopher Livingston is a board certified plastic surgeon and in private practice at Livingston Plastic Surgery located in Houston, Texas within the world renowned Texas Medical Center. Since 2003, Dr. Livingston has been an active part of the faculty at the University of Texas School of Medicine and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery which recognizes only those board certified plastic surgeons that concentrate their practices in cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Livingston was drawn to plastic surgery due to its unique blend of art, imagination, applied sciences, medicine and engineering. “As a plastic surgeon I am passionate about providing a complete cosmetic evaluation and offer a unique treatment plan” This could include non-invasive procedures such as Botox® injections, soft tissue fillers including Juvederm, Radiesse, and Sculptra, advanced skin care regimens with hydroquinone bleaching agents and vitamin A retinoic acids, or glycolic acid, TCA, and phenol chemical peels as well as surgical procedures such as face lifts, browlifts, eyelid surgery, nose reshaping, neck lifts, liposuction and breast and body procedures such as breast reduction, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty and thigh lifts. One of my passions, is gynecomastia surgery. Many men struggle with this condition most of their adult lives which can limit social, personal, and even business relationships. One surgery can literally change their life, and this is the reason I became a plastic surgeon.

Medical Assistant

Courtney White

As a Medical Assistant, Courtney White, evaluates and treats all Dr. Livingston's patients. She graduated from Navarro College with a Business Degree and will begin her Nursing Certification program and process in the spring of 2009.

Courtney has over 8 years of experience in a variety of health care specialty areas including internal medicine, wound care, dermatology, as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Courtney is intimately involved with the day to day operations at Livingston Plastic Surgery, including marketing, insurance and cosmetic billing, product supply, and managing.

With her vast medical assistance, Courtney performs history and physical exams on all of Dr. Livingston's patients including preoperative and postoperative exams and will answer any question a cosmetic or reconstructive patient may have in a timely fashion.

Insurance Specialist and Patient Advocate

Ruth Guthrie

Ruth brings 30 years of experience specializing in obtaining predetermination and precertification for surgeries based on medical necessity. Her focus is always patient first. Ruth works to insure maximum insurance payment and coordinates the process of appealing the occasional insurance denial. Her vast experience in this critical area, helps achieve the best possible outcome in the complex and often frustrating process of obtaining insurance approval and payment.

Front Office Manager/Receptionist

JoJo Aguilar

JoJo is bilingual and greets every patient personally upon entering our office. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality care and attention. She brings over 20 years of administrative expertise and has been working in the plastic surgery field with Dr. Livingston since 2007. JoJo is in charge of seeing that the patient's experience is a positive and memorable one from the moment they schedule a consultation to the last postoperative visit. She is ready to assist with any issues or questions the patient may have and is committed to providing the patient with a warm, inviting environment for them to begin their journey with us.

Paramedical Aesthetician

Jacquie Carpenter

Jacquie has been a paramedical aesthetician for 17 years. She is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists and works in conjunction with Dr. Livingston to give our patients the highest quality personalized care and create a skin care system that works hand in hand with his procedures. Jacquie performs a variety of skin and body treatments and uses advanced skin care products formulated to aggressively rejuvenate the skin and correct problems ranging from acne and acne scarring to wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Jacquie also offers various Laser treatments including IPL (Intense Pulse Light), Laser hair reduction and Laser Tattoo removal.

Surgical First Assistant

John Williamson, CFA

John Williamson is a certified surgical first assistant with over 15 years of experience in plastic surgery inpatient and outpatient procedures. John graduated from San Jacinto College and completed surgical first assistant training in 1999 at Meridian Institute. He has worked with many of the top plastic surgeons in Houston Texas. He has surgical first assistant privileges at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Memorial Hermann Southeast, Memorial Hermann Ambulatory Surgical Center, First Street Surgical Center, and Houston Hospital for Specialized Surgery (Baylor College of Medicine). John has first assistant certification, surgical technologist certification, and is a member of the Association of Surgical Assistants and Association of Surgical Technologists. John enjoys cosmetic , hand, and reconstructive surgery. He is an extremely bright, honest, artistic, and the hardest worker I have ever known.
